We are where others would like to be
There is no mistaking the sound of a tracked vehicle setting itself in motion. With us you do not just hear it – you are the one at the controls. After a thorough briefing by an experienced tank commander you drive yourself: steering wheel, automatic transmission and radio headset, across our own training grounds in the Sauerland.
And do not worry if you have never done this before – that is exactly what we are here for. Incidentally, and contrary to the rumour, it is women in particular who have turned out to be excellent drivers with us.
Three ways to set history in motion
Drive a tracked vehicle yourself
Briefing in the training room, then you take the controls: steering wheel, automatic transmission, disc brakes – and your commander in your ear over the radio headset. Fuel and a decorative certificate included.

Drive a Kübelwagen (VW 181)
The open military classic with a Beetle engine: 45 minutes of driving with an instructor beside you, briefing and fuel included. Up to two passengers may join (€5 each).
About the Kübelwagen
Ride in a tank
20 minutes around the course in the troop compartment of an infantry fighting vehicle – one member of your group stands in the turret as commander. For company teams, families and clubs, with up to eight people per ride.

Well kept, modern vehicles
Immaculately serviced tracked vehicles with steering wheel, automatic transmission and disc brakes – we do the maintenance ourselves, and it shows.
Proper intercom
Up-to-date radio headsets: you hear your commander crystal clear – and the people who came with you can listen in.
Bring company
Up to five people watch from a safe spot and are welcome to take photographs and film. Afterwards the vehicle is available for photos.
Appointments without a crowd
No mass handling: appointments on request via the form only – the grounds are then yours.
A matter of course with us: free parking right on site – no fees, no hunting for a space.

Briefing
On the day: instruction in the training room, then a look over the vehicle together with your commander.
Drive
Start the engine, instructions over the headset – and then it is your turn. The time passes faster than you would like.
